I remember the first year when I came to Kau Yan School, I was deeply attracted by this saying, “Kau Yan School is a big family”. I have been living in this big family for more than 20 years. This saying makes me feel so loved. My career in Kau Yan School has also shown me love in different aspects. The caring love I felt from my students’ parents when I was ill. The pure love I felt from students that makes me happy. The supportive love I felt from my co-workers when my son was born. The comforting love I felt from God when I am in sorrow. May our love go beyond Kau Yan School and spread to the people around us, just as Jesus said, “love your neighbour as yourself”.
