Working in Kau Yan School with a group of Christian teachers, guiding children based on the teaching in the bible is as pleasant as attending church. I have learnt a lot myself during the teaching process too. I hope every child can learn about God and grow in His grace.

I have more than 10 years of experience in early childhood education. I am thankful that God has brought me to Kau Yan School which allows me to server different families and children. There is an ancient saying, “a teacher should never lose his love.” For the years that I have worked in the early childhood industry, I have been using love to feel the needs of children and capture the critical period of their language development. My teaching philosophy is to let children learn through games, so that they can learn Putonghua voluntarily and build up their interest and confidence in a pleasant environment.

I am thankful for the abundant grace of God. He gave me the opportunity to teach at Kau Yan School. I implement “child-centred” and “game-based” approach to stimulate children’s motivation in learning Putonghua, and lay a solid foundation for their language development through diverse activities, such as stories, games, music, rhythm, competitions and children’s songs.

It felt familiar when I first came to Kau Yan School. Turns out it was God’s grace that brought me here. I am very grateful that God let me meet my brothers and sisters and a group lovely children in this family of His. I am also thankful that He let me feel the warmth and love like sunshine and rain!

I am truly grateful to be given the opportunity to be a part of Kau Yan‘s family and your child’s teacher in the upcoming school year. I believe that learning should be enjoyable, rewarding and meaningful. Children learn the best when they are given the freedom to pursue the learning experiences they are most attracted to. My goal, as an early childhood educator, is to provide a rich and stimulating learning environment for young children to learn and explore in order to fulfil their full potential. I hope to create a caring and respectful classroom that is full of laughter and joy, allowing children to feel secure throughout their learning journey. I look forward to having an amazing school year together!
